jhetleyMet a monarch butterfly headed south and west, up near the junkyard. This time of year, that's the generation that will end up in Mexico. After a lot of flapping . . .
One flat garter snake in the road near the golf course, maybe 14"-16" long. It might have been trying to warm up in the sun.
Sun came out, wind persisted, temperature got up around 60 F. Got out on the bike, did not die.
