Now two houses down the road and inching this way. Discovering strange things underground. And not _yet_ undermining any utility poles and dumping high voltage across the excavators, although they came damned close on one.
(We're still wondering where the water from our kitchen drain went. Back when we had the household piping redone, we discovered that the kitchen sink and the washing machine did not seem to tie into the drain lines for the rest of the house. Water and sewer lines were added to this area after the houses had been here a while, and some of the connections are a trifle . . . obscure.) (At least we aren't in a class with the old John Gould joke about the guy who had to have his cesspit replaced with a real septic system at Department of Health insistence. And then his well dried up.)
Nothing of note on the morning bike ride, except that the cycle computer behaved itself.
