I don't mind getting older. There are specific people I hope to outlive, and specific others that I hope will outlive me. I'm pretty sure that I won't get everything I want, though.

Having outlived both sets of parents, I dread some of the effects of aging. All four reached some stage of extreme disability and dementia.
