Toys backwards-R Us closing, Sears closing, last year Macy's and Kmart. Miscellaneous smaller stores. Guess the mall will go back to cow pasture.

Once a mall starts to die, it goes fast. And the site is cursed . . . there's no way to put up a new one in the same place until you've had at least one major (and different) structure occupy the site in between.
