Robins????

So there I am, up to my ass in snow, clearing the driveway and walk. And we have a flock of robins working over the tree out front? So much for signs of spring.

Now I get to go out and do the driveway end again, thanks to the benevolence of the city snowplow.

Top Sekrit Solution: leave the last few feet (depending on depth of snow) of the driveway untouched until after the plows come by. In this way, you'll only have to clear it once, and you don't get the spillover effect created by an cleared driveway.

Of course, if you live in an area with very evil city employees, they'll still come by after you've cleared it, just out of spite.

I have used that solution. Problem is, sometimes I'd like to take a car out _now_. Or maybe a car is out already, and wants to come back home.

Also, the plows _will_ return. I expect them by about 2:30 AM tomorrow, for example.
