Thursday no-roadkill report
Not even bloodstains on the road.
Waited while some darkish clouds passed north and east of us, official green blobs on the weather radar, then got out on the bike. No wet pavement found, so I needn't have worried. More purple loosestrife blooming. Bluebird flew down to the grass in one lawn, then back up into a nearby spruce -- I suspect a fledgling or two in the shadows. Mockingbird up near Fruit Street School has added gull calls into his stock of songs.
