We can, in theory, get a book from any library in the state through interlibrary loan. Many long years ago, we took out books from the library across the river, but I can't remember if we had a separate card for that.

The university library used to require a separate card. Don't know if they've changed policy.

Other than those, the libraries are tiny -- some of them one or two rooms. As I've commented before, this is the largest "city" in any direction for a hundred miles.
