Sunshine

And falling temperatures, of course. "They" say we reached our highs for the day at midnight, and it's all downhill from here. With wind. That "Alberta Clipper" I mentioned before.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, The Shrew still hasn't had her chance to shoot someone. Instead, she's dealing with her subconscious and a troublesome dream.

Speaking as someone who's always felt The Taming of the Shrew to be more horror story than anything else, allow me to make a heartfelt plea here: Let the woman *shoot* *something* for pity's sake! A tree. A tin can. An ogre. Grendel. *Something*!

Honestly, the way authors treat women these days. Sheesh!

"Don't know. Probably not."
"That's a shame. We'll have Alice give you another lesson after breakfast."

Grendel doesn't show up in this story, just his Mom.
