November

Snow, sleet, freezing rain, and straight rain overnight, depending on location in Maine. We seem to have been in the "cold rain" zone, no obvious solid stuff out there this morning and temperatures in the mid-30s F.

And now the sun shines upon us and the goldfinch swarms. New England weather does that sort of thing.

I need to dredge up some ambition and energy -- the EPA laundry/Stephen King horror site awaits. For those who came in late, I refer to this by SK's name not only because of its general grunge and hidden dangers, but because he worked there in the long-ago before he hit the big time. I believe a couple of his stories are actually set in the place...

It's supposed to hit 90 here today, which is quite unseasonably warm. Back to the 70s later in the week.

Oh, and if you are waxing nostalgic for a traditional Maine autumn day, I'll mention that the sun is setting now. At 4:15 PM...
