Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
(...or the Day Job)
A couple of architectural projects have intruded into my happy writing life. Good thing I got that draft done when I did -- both of these damned _paying_ jobs have deadlines. So I am now drawing up more "why the HELL did they build it THAT way" renovations, in both cases for projects with a contractor already selected. That latter fact makes my job much simpler, because then I can count on an experienced crew to "adjust" my pie-eyed schemes to fit reality on the ground...
Make it up as we go along process.
Rain again this morning, then sun, then building clouds. Probably rain again this afternoon or evening. Didn't mention it on yesterday's roadkill report, but when I bicycled past the golf course, all the visible golf-people were afoot. Perhaps they lost their carts in the new water hazards.
And I am perturbed that sclerotic_rings has vanished from LJ.
