Saturday roadkill report

Yes, folks, it's the return of the ever-popular (?) Roadkill Report. Spring is here (says so on the calendar) and desperate cabin-fevered folks have swept the winter's dust off their bicycles. I use the plural because I saw other two-wheeled fools out there.

Anyway, the roadkill total topped out at a couple of squirrels. I would normally exclude squirrels as unworthy, but I guess the more important critters are still tucked away in hibernation. Oh, and the roads themselves count as roadkill, after the ravages of winter. But I did the whole loop this time, on the road bike instead of the mountain bike, and survived.

Fat Wizard survived the morning, also. I'm not sure he's going to thank me.

And the noon news logged Fred as a no-show for the funeral. I'll update you as further dispatches arrive from the front.

Although the crab is the best ("I pinch"), today, I offer you, the oppossum.

That URL gave me an error message from the Honda site.

ARGH! They took it down! It worked last night and now it's gone forever!

Went back later last night, using IE rather than Firefox, and found the site working. But you _really_ should know that the animation takes forever to load over dial-up...

They've kept it on as a special service for the disciples of Ned Ludd.

Ah, is there some sort of a secret handshake you must perform once a year? Ritual rotary phone sacrifice maybe?

Rotary phone sacrifice? Sacrilege! Also, probably impossible. You can beat a bear to death with one of them, and then use it to call Fish & Game to register the kill.

That sounds like experience talking.
