Be kind to your web-footed friends

Air temperature 63 F, light northwest breeze, fog at the airport but just overcast here. Plan to check out the weather over there by bicycle later. Had a police car and fire engine across the park last night, personal fireworks aftermath. What I could see, it was a launcher box burning and no miscreants remaining on scene.

Friday mocking report

Heard mockingbird song at numerous points on this morning's ride, which I take to mean that the young-uns are out of the nest and need watching/warning. Didn't get dive-bombed, so they didn't see me as a threat.

New flowers limited to definite tansy and possible goldenrod, although the latter is bicycle botany at a distance and there are a lot of yellow flowers out there.

No roadkill to report, no interesting metal birds out at the base. Boring ride.
