Merry month of March

Air temperature 35 F, overcast, wind near calm. Rain supposed to start after noon, so we should be able to get our foraging done. Skunk out foraging for its breakfast across our side street. Or looking for sex.

Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

Flock of a couple-dozen geese in a field on our way to forage at the supermarket. I haven't heard migrators, so these may be over-winter residents. We have some, and I don't know what they do for food through a Maine winter.
