Continued living

Air temperature 46 F, wind south about 5 mph, cloudy. Weather radar shows a green glob over by the airport. From whence we heard a fair amount of activity last night. No explosions. Which is more than I can say about a number of areas of the world.

Atlantic flyway

Couple-dozen ducks at the cemetery pond as I drove past on an errand. Ones I could ID were mallards. Then, a couple-dozen geese up at the golf course. Which I'm sure really pleased the golfers . . .

Don't know if these flocks were migrants or stay-the-winters.

Contemplating costs

Small fire inside a Walmart Superstore yesterday. And we are speculating on the amount of merchandise headed to the dump or to salvage sale. Including the entire food department.
