Not as we know it

Air temperature 65 F, dew point the same, wind near calm. Or near clam. One of those things. Anyway, fog at the airport, burning off here. Temperatures supposed to get up near 90 F this afternoon, calling for a moratorium on strenuous exercise. Will try to get some shorter walks in early.

We are rapidly approaching "the limits to growth" and may have already exceeded them. Fifty years of people deriding that theory hasn't helped . . .

More cat politics

Encountered Louie and Sasha on my morning walk, Sasha at the top of her steps munching away on a pile of kibble in a bowl and Louie on their side path. He didn't come for petting until I walked back far enough to pass the steps and Her Majesty, and it became obvious that she wasn't going to pull rank. Food is more important than getting your chin scratched.
