Foraging again

Air temperature 23 F, wind northwest about 9 mph, mostly cloudy. Minor snow forecast tonight, storm Thursday. Not a blizzard, but worth cranking the snowblower. City ambulance at a house across the park, arrived without fanfare and departed likewise, after loading a gurney in the back.

Plus and minus walk

No further excavations seen or heard on that old elm. The woodpeckers seem to have harvested the crop and moved on. Met up with Louie over near our old house, so he got his ears and shoulders rubbed. Lazy bum made me walk in to meet him.
