Air temperature 56 F, wind west about 5 mph, clear sky. May try to fit both a bike ride and foraging into the day.

Tuesday wildlife report
At least 3 ruffed grouse by the side of the road just past a stream near the start of my ride, maybe another or so in the weeds. Also alive alive-o, 15 or 20 geese a little further on by the cemetery pond.
Roadkill, a couple of gray squirrels and a tentative marten well squashed, light brown or tan top and white underside.
More trees starting to turn, early maples and such. Flowers limited to the usual suspects, with more asters every day and more of the damned purple loosestrife going to seed.
Got out on the bike, more wind than I would like. Did not die.
