Air temperature 64 F, wind southwest about 5 mph, clear sky. May attempt a bike ride this morning, avoiding one part of my loop that is scheduled for paving.

Tuesday floral report
Brilliant purple asters starting to bloom, sign of the true end to summer around here. Rest of the usual suspects still at it.
Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels.
No interesting metal birds over at the airport/base, in spite of increased traffic. Did get a glimpse of one C-17 on the downwind leg after I got home, probably stopping over for R&R on the way to its roost.
Warm and humid, little wind. Got out on the bike, did not die.
