Air temperature 68 F, wind southeast about 8 mph, overcast. Dew point 66 F, still icky. May settle for a local ride this morning. Storm supposed to hook out to sea and just brush us with a bit of rain, starting this evening.

Sunday sweaty report
More asters blooming, still not into full season. Thistles mostly gone to down. Cattails filling out to the end of their spikes. Be-damned purple loosestrife still spreading, some setting seed.
No roadkill. Since I doubt that the critters are getting smarter, it looks like cleanup is improving.
A dearth of metal birds over at the airport/base. I suspect visitors are parking up in the main base area, due to construction traffic down near the gate where I take my water breaks.
Rode just across town and back, in deference to the weather. Which hasn't reached us yet, but still humid and warm for Maine. Did not die.
