August continues

Air temperature 65 F, near calm, partly cloudy. Dew point 60 F, supposed to climb for the next few days. Blech. Bike ride early, probably local.

Sunday goose report

Nothing new in the floral report, no roadkill noted. Loose flock of 15 or so Canada geese between the road and river up near the university. Three groups of 5 or 6, fairly close to each other, so I deduce three nests of adults and youngsters.

Not totally fatal out there, so I rode up to the university and back. Late summer hath us in its grip, air temperature 83 F now. Did not die.
