Air temperature 63 F, south wind about 10 mph, fog and overcast. I may or may not try to get a bike ride in before the rains advance down from the northlands.

Wednesday floral report
First swamp candles blooming, bell-flowers, either beach pea or one of its analogs, some kind of viburnum I can't ID from the road, and the linden trees are stinking up the neighborhood.
Roadkill limited to a couple of squirrels. Not-roadkill, a probable roughed grouse flying low across the road in front of me.
Dank morning, still cloudy and windy, but I got out on the bike for my loop upriver. Did not die.
