Air temperature 47 F, wind NW about 5 mph, overcast. Rain last night, maybe showers this afternoon. World turning green -- may take a leap of faith and swap the snowblower and lawnmower in the garage.

Monday roadkill report
One fresh-dead woodchuck across from the auto junkyard, one sparrow near mile six on my route. Also, programmable sign says my first highway bridge will be closed starting May 11, so that's roadkill pending.
Skunk cabbage up in the bog, which it damn well should be this late in the season. Coltsfoot blooming, cattails starting to sprout.
Temperature above 60 F, not raining, got out for my full weekday loop on the bike. Which, per note above, will have to change.
