Pollution levels must be getting unacceptably low. Dump truck idling for at least 15 minutes out on the street, empty. Seems to be related to a driveway up the block a ways.

Also, first dandelions. And Ms. Karma was out, tucked in a sunny spot under her neighbor's rhododendron. I petted and scritched, per request.

Got recharged -- wind in the white pines, a well-tuned forest stream, wood frogs quacking, and a chipmunk. A lot of trees down at the nature center, but that's life. As well as death.
