Thanksgiving snowplows

Air temperature 31 F, wind north gusting over 30 mph, snowing. We don't have plans to go anywhere, nor is anyone coming to us. Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks.

Helium is a non-renewable resource. Use hydrogen, and make the balloons a funeral pyre at the end of the parade.

Major issue for the day -- at what point do we sally forth to battle the driveway snow?  Not enough to run the snowblower . . . yet.

Meanwhile, South Neighbor Son is cranking away at the snowblower, to no success. Wife suggests a shovel might use less energy . . .
Also, if he ever does get it running, it's a two-cycle single-stage unit. Won't throw wet snow worth a damn, and we'll have a smoke cloud from here to Canada.
