Air temperature 44 F, wind NE about 5 mph, overcast. Sky still dark when I walked for the newspaper, and that isn't all down to the clouds.

Given that we've already had Daesh-inspired mass killings in the USA, I expect revenge attacks. Which will then be used as an excuse for harsher repression of minorities . . .
