Thursday floral report

Cattail flower spikes are up and starting to fatten, more swamp candles (yellow loosestrife), lots of cornflower and daisies and goats-beard.

No fresh roadkill. Tuesday's porcupine remains, unwelcome ornament by the roadside out near my water stop.

Got out on the bike, discovered that I have some play in the front wheel bearing. That wheel and bearing have over 20,000 miles on them . . .

Anyway got ride in, did not die.
