Monday floral report

First milkweed blooms, thistles swelling but not open yet, may have seen the first beach pea -- or just escaped sweet pea. Locust trees shedding like mad while the lindens haven't taken over the task of suffocating everything that breathes. Lots of buttercups and vetch.

Only roadkill ID was one chipmunk. I'd expected the asphalt to be coated with flattened frogs after an overnight summer rain, but no.

Windy, sun in and out, got my bike ride in. Did not die.
