Can't hit, no pitching
Air temperature 41 F, wind NNW about 10 mph, clear sky. Three mockingbird serenades on my morning newspaper walk. Also goldfinch that seemed to be in full spring feathers.

Wednesday roadkill report?
Turkey vulture circling low, off to the side of my bike route. I didn't try to find whatever it was after, that being a section of dead-end residential roads.
Air temperature 56 F, wind still gusting to over 20 mph, but sunny. Got out on another acclimation ride, over 6 miles this time. Did not die.
