Culture clash

People seem to forget that some other people are raised in huggy cultures and others are not. I've been married for nearly 50 years, and my wife's family still makes me uncomfortable with their automatic hugs . . .

Acts of defiance

Snowdrops blooming on my walk route, a herd of robins working lawns ditto, and a mockingbird trying out mocks in a known mockingbird zone. Also, we have six crocus blooms at last count.
