Back into the damp

Air temperature 65 F, dew point 61, overcast, wind south 5 mph. I think the rain will stay south of us long enough for me to sneak in a bike ride.

Sunday civil war

Some re-enactors holding a camp out at the airport. I thought about swinging in and checking authenticity, but didn't want to be shot as a Rebel spy. I am assuming the B-1 parked in the visitor's lot was not part of the scene.

Usual supply of late summer wildflowers, with smartweed added. Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels.

Still damp and overcast but not raining, so I rode across town and over hills and home. Did not die.
