Day lilies blooming, multi-flower version of yellow hawkweed, maybe ragged-robin, and bedstraw.

Roadkill limited to one chipmunk, one desiccated woodchuck, and one porcupine.

Headed downriver ahead of a (runners') road-race, thence inland and over some hills. Cantor mockingbird singing between the synagogues as I headed out, loud woodpecker drumming near the end of my ride. Did not die.
