Air temperature 51 F, wind north about 10 mph, scattered clouds for the newspaper walk. "Ground ivy" also blooming in the lawn. Which I will have to mow soon.

Party primaries and caucuses force candidates to pander to extremists in order to reach the general election.
And so it begins.
Lawn mowed. I am neither the first nor the last on our block to take this drastic step.
