Foggy morning, air temperature 51 F and dew point the same, calm for the newspaper walk. May or may not sneak a bike ride in before the predicted afternoon showers.

Friday vernal report
Three male mallards holding a bachelor party in one of the hospital grounds' puddles -- I assume their lady-loves are sitting on nests. Canada mayflower leaves up but no flowers seen. More things leafing out, including a green haze on some of the bog tamaracks.
Roadkill limited to another gray squirrel. Not enough by an order of magnitude, if you ask me . . .
Temperature got into the upper 50s F, roads started to dry off, got out on the bike. Did not die.
