Snowdrift fantasies

Air temperature 15 F, windchill 0, wind west gusting to 25 mph. Sunshine belies the fate which waits . . .

Iceberg dead ahead

Cleared driveway, walk, steps, car, parts of the roof. No idea how much snow we got, officially -- I've moved at least 8" twice, not counting drifts.

Statistical bit

Appears we got about 18" of snow out of the storm. I wonder where they got the flakes to hold still and be measured.
