Sunday foliage report

More maples turning, more ash trees dropping leaves. Some of the birches and aspens are going yellow. Flowers pretty much down to asters and a few scattered patches of tansy.

No roadkill other than gray squirrels.

Got run over by a C-17 (I think) taking off as I cycled across the end of the runway. No damage to either party. Didn't recognize the insignia -- not USAF, anyway.

Kept to a local ride, across town and back. Got rained on. It happens. Did not die.
