Thursday roadkill report

One dead raccoon a bit short of four miles into the route, one porcupine at the five mile mark, gray squirrel, chipmunk.

Not-roadkill, great blue heron at the cemetery pond. Preening when I headed out, hunting on the return leg.

More asters, more thistle fluff, chicory/cornflower continues strong. A few more red leaves on the maples.

Got out on the bike in advance of predicted showers. Did not die.
