Scentless chamomile has joined the daisy ranks, St. John's wort adding to the roadside yellow. Some lupines still bloom in shaded areas.

Only roadkill was a garter snake, maybe 2' long, flattened here in town.

Got out on the bike, local route in deference to humidity and July sun (and age), did not die.
