Light snow

Snow started after first light, dusting now, little wind.  Forecast accumulations vary from just that dusting up to maybe 4".  Still chilly out there, 6 F or so.

Life's minor irritations

Just filled out our village's Business Personal Property Tax forms, letting them know that the architecture office has not added any new taxable equipment over the last year.  Grr.

They'd tax air if they could figure out a way to meter it, like in a lunar habitat.

And having me do the form and all, reminds me of that old quote about serving as the cannibal's meal and doing the cooking besides . . .

Degrees F, that is.  Moon extremely bright on fresh snow.  Which squeaks underfoot . . .
