Revisions

Well, the morning forecast has moved 4"-8" of snow into our area, tonight into tomorrow morning.  I told you I didn't trust last night's prophecy . . .

The end is nigh!

Jumping the gun on the nationwide digital TV countdown, Maine Public Television switches off their analog transmitters tonight.  Saves electricity with the budget tight.  Gonna be a lot of griping tomorrow.

A lot of Maine depends on broadcast TV, and fringe reception.  I still maintain that the digital changeover is a product of the cable and satellite TV moguls, trying to force us all to pay for trash.  That, plus the Feds wanting to swipe frequencies for auction to the highest bidder . . .
