Light snow overnight, just enough to show tracks like the boink-boink-boink left by a squirrel foraging down our driveway, or vagrant cats leaving their little paddy-paw-prints in lines along the sidewalks.
Had a cardinal tuning up at 5:00 AM. Some people are thrilled to have them moving north -- not common in the past. Me, I can live without the early morning noise. Them and the mourning doves. Living invitations to a shotgun. There's a good reason why doves are considered game birds in the south...
