Disgusting

The air hangs heavy with humidity and smog*.  High temperature yesterday 88 F, after a high of 70 on Thursday.  The weather PTBs suggest mid to upper 80s today.  And I pretty much have to mow the lawn.  Back to the antihistamines.

*YOUR smog, all you people to the south and west of us.  We're downriver from the sewer outfall, so to speak.  We didn't even get the benefit of generating it ourselves.

Free shower included.  Yes, "it" started to rain just as I was finishing.  Rarely do I demonstrate such timing.

Maybe next week I can skip the chore.  The grass usually slows down in September, sometimes even in August.  I'd been half-hoping I could start the every-other-week schedule this week, asked Wife, and she allowed as how we looked a little shaggy.  Gods and goddesses forbid that our lot should become a blight on the neighborhood.

Those of you who have seen the place can laugh now.

And now the sun comes out.  Oh joy, oh rapture.  Steam bath time.

Maybe it's just me...

...but I think Osama loses butch points for using "Just For Men" on his beard.  Gray is the manly man color.  The color of wisdom and maturity and leadership.
