Sunday roadkill report
One squashed woodchuck out by the city's composting field. One dead crow about fifty yards further on. I don't know if there was a connection in time as well as space.
Dropped Younger Son and Girlfriend off at the bus station this morning, hope _they_ don't count as roadkill. Now we can drop back into the normal level of chaos around the house. Meeting on new architectural project tomorrow morning.
Headed out for a local bike ride after lunch and before the soccer -- hot and humid continues, and my knee wasn't interested in any big hills, thank you. So we kept to a low-key city ride with bail-out options along the way. And a note to that bastard who gunned the engine of his black pickup as he passed me -- I was already going the speed-limit on that downhill, asshole. May you throw a connecting rod clear through the side of your V-8 blockhead.
