We now have sun mixed with clouds mixed with snow flurries. I think they only gave us about half an inch of total precip yesterday/last night, nothing like enough to soak the ground and cut the fire danger beyond a few days. Also not enough to cover some of the "bony" sections of the streams for whitewater canoe racing.
Printed off draft of XXI this morning, SIGNATURES moving along past the 70 K mark. I think Fat Wizard doesn't like me anymore. He's getting grumpy.
Not sure about the bicycle prospects for the next few days. I'll do temperatures around 50 F or a little below, using ski pants and such, but wind adjusts that into the nasty range.
Think I maybe saw a sharp-shin hawk zip through our yard this morning. About the right size and flying right, but moved in and around the house next door much too quickly for positive ID. Could explain the dearth of finches at the feeders...
