Out for a walk this afternoon (brr) and saw what I thought was a mockingbird in a known mockingbird territory. It landed in a bare bush about six feet away, and I didn't realize until I was about two houses further along the street that the body feathers weren't quite right and it had a heavy, hooked bill.
