Sunday roadkill report
Woodchucks, a skunk, and a raccoon or two.
Did sort of a cloverleaf around town, got drizzled on, got sunshined on, chatted with a Volunteer Milfoil Inspector out at the lake -- he didn't think he needed to inspect the bike for milfoil, an invasive aquatic plant.
Turns out I _could_ have taken the long loop through the hills that I originally planned, except that some of those clouds on the horizon seemed to have Ambitions, and might have hunted me down if I got daring.
We'll see if the lawn dries out enough for mowing.
You may have noticed a lack of mention of writing in recent days. I have been slacking, or the story has. I think I'd be more involved in the damned thing if I didn't already know how it will come out -- I like to be surprised, just as if I was reading someone else's work. If I get far enough into it, I know it will start to twist away from what I _thought_ was going to happen, but I haven't reached that point yet. Therefore, it remains a slog.
