Day's entertainment

City water district in possession of the street, with diesel-powered vengeance. Noticed running water in the gutter there during my newspaper walk, and was going to call it in if they hadn't shown cognizance by business hours.

Air temperature 71 F, dew point 69, wind south about 8 mph, overcast. Muggy continues.
