There were no elections in San Francisco and environs yesterday. I mean, my usual polling place was closed. It was spooky.

I also was denied an opportunity to vote yesterday. I was under the illusion that Kentucky had elections every year, at least at the local level. It certainly did when I lived in Lexington, as did Raleigh when I lived in NC, but apparently not here in Louisville, where I am currently trapped. Goodness knows we elect enough petty officials.
